By Stevie Connor.

This new double CD album from the singer songwriter Steve Jinski is titled ‘Muscle Memory’ and was released on Friday September 29th, 2023. It's available as a hard copy CD, as a download, and on all streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.

Distribution is through Lucky Smile Records / Proper Music.

This is an album that steps forward whilst looking back. Originally the project was to be a revisit, remix and rework of Steve’s debut album ‘Eventually’, previously only available on vinyl. Inspired by Giles Martin's work remixing Beatles records, we were able to employ cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) technology to break down stereo mixes into their constituent components, enabling us to rework, remix and remaster the songs. You will find these on Disc 2; newly restored, enhanced, polished and pristine for the digital age.

Muscle Memory has grown into a collection of newer songs and timeless Steve Jinski classics, together with some gems which were (inexplicably!) overlooked at the time of their original inception, and for which only demos or half-finished tracks survived. Once again, ML technology opened up vast new horizons in terms of creative possibilities...

Standout tracks include current single The Art Of Conversation, Merciless, The Kicking Horse, Gone, The Weakest Voice and From A Jealous Mind. These and many more display a mastery of the singer/songwriter craft.

Steve Jinski is a songwriter, singer, performer, musician and cultural visionary. He has toured the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Scandinavia both as a solo artist and with his recently put together group of musicians simply known as The Festival Band. He has made numerous festival appearances and opened shows for Richard Thompson, Eddi Reader, David Gray, Eliza Carthy and Kathryn Tickell to name just a few. Radio and TV appearances include a performance on BBC 1 The One Show. Steve is also spearheading the new 'Lose The Earbuds' initiative, which aims to encourage a globalreturn to listening to recorded music socially - on proper loudspeakers. How we used to do it!

Steve will be touring the UK promoting the Muscle Memory album with a series of solo performances including a number of Scottish dates.
